We are looking for an Office assistant to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. HVAC Installer

Applicants would work as a team installing HVAC systems in residential new construction, as well as system replacement in existing homes. This position requires the use of hand tools, ladders, and working in the elements. Must be physically capable to work in attics and on roofs.

Fabrication/Industrial Maintenance Technology

Adams Land and Cattle has an opportunity for a highly motivated and disciplined individual with a high aptitude in mechanics. At times, this individual may be required to assist with other projects in the Maintenance department.

This person will be responsible for:

Working safely in shop and feedlot environments, following all company safety guidelines.

Working with Machine Services/Lot Maintenance teams on a diverse range of projects, from build, to repair, rebuild and retrofit of production assets, including feedlot facilities (processing, feed mill, fencing, water and sprinkler systems) and equipment (feed and straight trucks, heavy equipment, tractors).

Performing skilled work in welding, cutting, shaping and machining accurately and precisely, using welding and machining equipment.

Assembling, fabricating/machining and repairing parts to specifications including taking mechanical fits, welding parts and machining parts.

Set-up, adjustment and operation of the following welding equipment: arc and MIG welding.

Set-up, adjustment and operation of the following machining equipment: mills and lathes.

Using project plans, blue prints, job specifications and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of finished product.

Inspecting and testing final product for conformance to quality standards and/or blueprint specifications.

Performing related material handling duties.

Coordinating ordering of required welding materials, such as rods, gas and metals.

Maintaining accurate parts use and/or other records.

Cleaning and maintaining the shop work area.

Cleaning and performing preventative maintenance (PM) and general repairs on utilized welding/machining equipment.

Communicating with engineering, supervisory, production services and feedlot personnel to effectively exchange technical information.

Mechanic

We are seeking a mechanic to work within our experienced Shop team. An ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience in repairing heavy equipment, vehicles, and other mechanical systems.

This person will be responsible for:

Conducting quality repairs on all ALCC agriculture equipment, resulting in maximum functionality, reliability and longevity. Equipment types include, but are not limited to: feed and other trucks, heavy and construction equipment, tractors, loaders, skid steers, fork lifts, ATVs, mowers, vehicles, motors and generators.

Troubleshooting reported problems on equipment and vehicles, diagnosing breakdowns, repairing, and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Inspecting equipment, vehicles, engines, transmissions, mechanical and electrical components, as well as computer and electronic systems and running diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.

Reporting status of repairs/assigned tasks at departmental shift start-up meetings.

Maintaining shop equipment, shop and parts crib work areas, parts crib inventory and shop tools in satisfactory condition.

Maintenance Supervisor

Adams Land & Cattle has an exciting leadership opportunity for someone to oversee our Maintenance department. This position provides the leadership for a broad and diversified group of technicians with responsibilities for the overall maintenance of our operations, which may include such things as fabrication or repair of large industrial equipment, large project support, maintenance of infrastructure systems, steel structures, facilities, fences, and tank systems.

This person will be responsible for:

Supporting/driving the overall safety strategy of the company. Exemplifying safety expectations.

Providing overall leadership of the Maintenance work group. Delegating tasks to appropriate personnel and providing support as needed.

Prioritizing and organizing preventive, corrective, deferred, and/or emergency maintenance of the feedlot facilities and equipment, including, but not limited to the feed mill, sprinkler systems, processing barn, water wells, etc.
