Traffic Control Technician

C.T.C.R., Inc. of Topeka is expanding our team. We are looking to hire highly motivated individuals as Traffic Control Technician Drivers (TCT). Whether it is setting up a safe work zone, working at the shop, loading/unloading trucks or delivering product throughout NE Kansas, these key employees keep our day to day operations on track.
As a Traffic Control Technician Driver, your responsibilities will include:
Setting up a safe work zone that ensures that traffic does not cause a threat to workers and the general traveling public. This involves setting up signs, barrels, barricades, and other approved traffic control devices that will guide the public through a work zone safely.
Takes direction from various road authorities and event planners, as it relates to project work.
Work independently or as part of a traffic control crew.
Operate company vehicles to deliver and remove traffic control devices from job sites.
Performs shop work as required including preparing orders, cleaning and repairing equipment, and general housekeeping.
TCTs don’t mind working outside and have a high regard for safety and excellent customer service. Successful candidates enjoy the physical demands of the position, are highly self-motivated, detailed, and take initiative to get the job done right while managing multiple tasks at once. We provide on-the-job training for the tasks that the TCT will need to perform but we do require the following:
Valid driver s license with an acceptable driving record (as determined by our insurance company)
Able to utilize a GPS device and read a map
Have a smartphone device
Ability to work long hours during Spring/Summer/Fall months
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and rotate being on-call for occasional after-hour emergencies.
Must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (70+ pounds), walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Must have the ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Experience performing manual labor
Preferred:
Driving experience in a professional setting
3+ years of overall, consistent work experience
Previous traffic control experience
We offer:

Review and evaluate developed x-rays, video tape, or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination.
Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan.
Key commands and data into computer to document and specify scan sequences, adjust transmitters and receivers, or photograph certain images.
Operate or oversee operation of radiologic or magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Position and immobilize patient on examining table.
Record, process, and maintain patient data or treatment records and prepare reports.
Take thorough and accurate patient medical histories.
Set up examination rooms, ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready.
Summary
