TARC Industries/Employment Services is currently seeking a Production and Document Destruction Driver. This position will work in conjunction with the TARC Industries production team. This position has the following responsibilities and benefits:
• Provide pick up of document destruction materials at various local businesses and delivery and pick up of production materials.
• Complete loading and unloading of production trailers and the assembly of required shipping tickets.
• Provide excellent customer service to contractors/customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Experience driving large delivery trucks required.
• Must be able to pass physical as this position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted, push/pull materials, loading of trucks and barrels of paper.
• Must be able to use pallet moving equipment and maneuver (back) vehicles in difficult and tightly congested areas.
• 90% of driving responsibilities are in box trucks/10% in semi-tractor.
• Must enjoy a busy work environment, working with people and following a detailed work schedule.

Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to function in a relief role by ordering, delivering, stocking, rotating and merchandising products. No CDL? No Problem!!! We will train you and help you get your CDL!!!
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Function in a relief role by ordering product for delivery to customer accounts
Deliver product to customer account
Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of product
Reconcile route each day and turn in all required DSD reports
Stack product according to customer specifications
Collect empty pallets and shells from customer backroom
Stock, rotate, and merchandise product as needed
Develop and maintain good customer relations
Maintain vehicle to company standards including cleanliness
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
Perform other duties as necessary
Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
A valid driver’s license. “Class A” commercial driver’s license as required for assigned route
Knowledge of inventory management and general merchandising
Basic knowledge of tablets
Effective oral and written communication skills
Skills in problem solving and judgement and decision making
Observe and follow all safety procedures
Familiar with DOT regulations as necessary for license classification
Work Environment and Equipment

Work generally takes place in a customer account setting. Individuals must be able to use a tablet, as well as a two-wheel dolly and pallet jack.

Truck Driver / Shipping Support

Responsible for safe and secure transportation of KSi product/equipment.

Duties:

– Responsible for adhering to DOT regulations at all times while driving: These include (but are not limited to): Accurately and honestly filling out log book, performing “Daily Vehicle Inspection Report”, and reporting any and all roadside inspections and vehicle defects to management
– Willingness to stay in KSi Transportation provided sleeper cab all nights while on the road;
– Exception is when on 34 hour restart away from home base
– Understands and carries out instructions given orally and in writing, including those on BOL’s, manifests, and other shipping documents to determine location and time of delivery
– Responsible to take “ownership” of vehicle: making sure oil changes and other preventative services are done in a timely manner
– Ensure a safe environment for employees and the general public
– Loading/Unloading of products at customer site and KSi plant
– Responsible for checking loads for safety and security before leaving site
– Responsible for having customer representative sign off that they have received equipment/product that was delivered and returning this paperwork to supervisor
– Reports all incidents involving driver or company equipment promptly and accurately. This includes any moving violations received in both CMV and personal vehicle.
– Performs roadside inspections as required by the law.
– Maintain professionalism in front of customer at all times
– Set up and install conveyor undercarriages and other miscellaneous equipment at customer sites
– Set up and tear down of KSi equipment at company sponsored events and shows
– Sitting in a vehicle for long periods of times
– Work in adverse weather conditions without temperature or environmental controls at times.
– Willingness to help other departments when/if needed
– Always keeps tractor and trailers in a clean condition.

Requirements:

– 2 or more years of experience driving under DOT standards is preferred
– At least 23 years old, according to FMCSA’s standards
– No more than 1 moving violation in the past 12 months
– No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
– No more than 1 not at fault accident within the past 3 years
– No major violations in the past 3 years
– Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
– Leaving the scene of an accident
– Driving while license is suspended or revoked
– Reckless driving (failure to control, negligent or careless driving)
– Other serious violations (i.e. habitual violators, speeding in excess of 15 mph over limit)
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required
– Must be able to self-manage and use time efficiently and responsibly
– Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
– Ability to supervise process flow, and lead others when necessary

Purpose:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing both basic and complex diagnostics on agricultural and construction equipment, and perform repairs and maintenance on either customer-owned, or dealer-owned, equipment. The Truck Driver operates vehicles to transport equipment and parts for the dealership. He/she instructs the customer on basic equipment operating procedures and may complete a delivery checklist to ensure customer satisfaction. He / she is responsible for good customer communication as needed, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, continually develop technical skills with evolving products, and perform work at customers sites as required.

Service Repairs: Performs repairs on above equipment (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical) as requested by manager. Accountable for performing quality work and attaining stated goals for efficiency.
Service Training / Development: Participates in all requested job-related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs.
Service Paperwork: Completes all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner. This would include inspection reports, warranty comments, work orders, etc. Uses CNH Asist as appropriate. Uses computers / tablets for data entry as required. Ensure manager is aware of any issues / surprises which can impact customer billing or satisfaction. Ensures accurate timekeeping for job costing.
Equipment and Tools: Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles inventory, tools, and equipment, including return of tools to storage areas.
Safety: Follows all company and common sense safety policies, while using all required personal safety equipment. Ensures a safe work environment in his bay; reports any issues in bay or other service work areas to manager for follow-up.
Teamwork: Works collaboratively with other technicians, parts, and sales personnel. Mentors Service Technician Apprentices and junior Technicians as able. Works afterhours (daily or weekend) as required.
Truck Driver Job Responsibilities (ranked in significance):
Equipment transport: Receives scheduling information from manager, loads trailer with outbound equipment, delivers equipment to destination, unloads equipment, and loads any equipment for the next destination.
Customer interaction: Contacts customer (or destination) as needed to confirm location / directions as required, and any requirements for unloading, loading, attachment location, etc. Upon arrival, greets customer in a friendly and professional manner. Ensures customer is satisfied with delivered equipment, doing a walk around or brief operation as required. Delivers all attachments and operating manuals to the customer. Confirms customer is satisfied before leaving the premises, and notifies supervisor immediately of any customer concerns.
Safety and Legal Requirements: Complies with all safety procedures and government regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance / Condition: Driver is responsible for the equipment he is assigned. Personally maintains a safe and clean vehicle, and ensures any and all required maintenance (scheduled or as needed) is performed timely and completely. Report any issues that he cannot resolve to supervisor promptly.
Dealer Image: Conducts himself professionally with customers and others he interacts with, to ensure a quality company image is communicated. Projects clean, professional appearance.
Requirements:
Technical degree in Agricultural or Construction Mechanics, or High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in service operations.
Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of Ag / Construction / Outdoor power equipment
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Owns mechanic tool set appropriate for the work required.
Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used in service shops (diagnostic equipment, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc.)
Knowledge of computer systems / software and smartphones for email and internet-based applications such as mapping / GPS software.
Ability to work occasional extended hours during the week and for weekend coverage.
Ability to travel to company meetings and training events as needed
Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance.
Ability to operate trucks as well as the agricultural, construction, and consumer equipment loading and unloading.
Ability to operate vehicles in normal weather conditions (snow, rain, etc.)
Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver’s license, and ability to operate motor vehicle
