Designer I, Production Engineering

Your responsibilities

To develop designs for the production of standard and customized pneumatic conveying equipment to meet project’s requirements for production and customer.

Essential Job Functions:

Expedite drafting of equipment drawings for engineers, production and customers according to the specs provided by other team members and or sales. Ensure accuracy of drawings and design to match Schenck Process’s production capabilities. Determine which views will best communicate design.

Create, Revise and enter part numbers and Bills of Materials for standardized & custom-engineered jobs.

Investigate and interpret any incomplete or obscure data needed to properly complete engineering process for any given project. Must use product knowledge to recognize when a project is missing parts or inaccurate and then decide upon the best methodology to correct.

Your qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD drafting techniques
Ability to provide accurate production drawings from sketches, red lined drawings or revisions from engineering or sales
Data Entry skills to enter Bills of Materials
Basic math skills in algebra and trigonometry
General personal computer skills in WORD & Excel
Basic Knowledge of equipment design and manufacturing techniques preferred.

Mechanical Assembler

Your responsibilities:

• Assembles and tests mechanical product component parts.
• Conducts quality control activities and trouble-shooting as needed.
• Gathers all materials and parts, including tools, needed for assembly of product.
• Transports product through use of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and by hand.
• Completes kitting reports, work orders and other documentation as needed.

Fitter Welder I

Your responsibilities:
Performs welding and/or fitting, set-up, and layout of raw and formed metal in the creation of metal products.
Cleans and/or grinds welds.

Checks quality of welds, repairing as needed.

Machine Operator

General Summary:

Performs daily duties using manual machines. Load and unload machine parts on automated machinery.

Metal Fabricator

Your responsibilities:
Performs CNC and manual fabrication to blueprint specifications or cut lists on a variety of metal products such as layout, rolling, cutting, shearing, drilling, breaking, and punching.

Maintains steel inventory unloading raw materials from trucks and stocking racks.

Relief Operator – Jeffrey Energy Center

We are recruiting candidates for a Relief Operator at our coal fired Jeffrey Energy Center, wage rate $29.23 per hour. Please find below a list of the minimum requirements for the position. It is important the candidates address their qualifications in the documentation submitted for consideration.

Relief Operator- “shall relieve all temporary absences by the method of “upgrade on shift.” When not being used to relieve temporary absences they may be used for further training of themselves or, by upgrading on shift, the further training of other personnel. At the discretion of the shift supervisor they may also be used for additional operating duties where qualified. Absences of relief operators shall not be relieved.”

“The Relief Operator shall be qualified for two (2) Auxiliary Operator positions prior to promotion to Auxiliary Operator on a permanent basis and shall complete training for all Auxiliary Equipment Operator positions within 24 months. The fully trained Auxiliary Equipment Operator will be expected to train and qualify for the Control Room Operator position as soon as the opportunity arises after successful completion of all auxiliary positions. Training will consist of both on the job and training modules with text materials. At the discretion of the shift supervisor they may also be used for additional operating, training, and cleanup duties where qualified.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate power plant equipment including valves, breakers, pumps, motors, and specialized equipment in support of power production.
• Perform flawless energy isolation and permitting of equipment in support of maintenance
• Perform routine inspection of plant equipment
• Review plant equipment performance data on a daily basis and report deficiencies
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to create, track, and complete work orders and work requests.
• Perform performance tests and troubleshoot equipment that is not performing as expected
• Review and edit operating procedures and P&ID’s (Piping and Instrument Diagrams)

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required:
Must possess a high school certificate or equivalent. Related equipment operation or maintenance experience and an Associate of Science in Power Plant technology or its equivalent is preferred.

Must successfully complete the EEI MASS/POSS Aptitude Test

Working Conditions:
Time will be spent in the power plant in a noisy industrial environment. This includes areas of extreme temperature, times of inclement weather, and work at heights above ground. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots. Must have a satisfactory work record including good attendance. This position works rotating shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays. Must live within 50-minute drive time of the plant.

• Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct goods has been received.
• Thoroughly inspecting goods for any damages and discrepancies.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all goods received and distributed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete diagnostics, troubleshooting, and appropriate repairs and rebuilds on Komatsu, Takeuchi, Bomag, NPK, Gradall, Metso equipment with little to no direct supervision
• Reference and interpret service, parts, and diagnostic software to determine problems/malfunctions and to verify repair specifications and parts needed
• Meet time requirement guidelines
• Escalate unresolved issues to Technical Communicators for further research and assistance
• Accomplish repair by following parts ordering process, completing service reports, and giving appropriate verbal or written communication in email or service reports
• Maintain a professional appearance when visiting the corporate office

Required Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of 2 years of successful hands-on experience or equivalent combination of technical training and in shop experience in Heavy Equipment repair
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient with a laptop computer, wireless hotspot, and Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to carry, push, and lift up to 60lbs
• Ability to climb and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, dust, and dirt)
• Valid driver license including a clean driving record subject to background check
• Must provide your own hand tools required to perform work efficiently

Short order Cook for casual quick service restaurant

Prep kitchen area for dinner/lunch rush. Prepare orders for customers as ordered while maintaining a proper work space for food handling/serving.
