Designer I, Production Engineering

Your responsibilities:

To develop designs for the production of standard and customized pneumatic conveying equipment to meet project’s requirements for production and customer.

Essential Job Functions:

Expedite drafting of equipment drawings for engineers, production and customers according to the specs provided by other team members and or sales. Ensure accuracy of drawings and design to match Schenck Process’s production capabilities. Determine which views will best communicate design.

Create, revise and enter part numbers and Bills of Materials for standardized & custom-engineered jobs.

Investigate and interpret any incomplete or obscure data needed to properly complete engineering process for any given project. Must use product knowledge to recognize when a project is missing parts or inaccurate and then decide upon the best methodology to correct.

Your qualifications:

Mechanical Assembler

Your responsibilities:

• Assembles and tests mechanical product component parts.

Painter

General Summary:

Ensures all Schenck Process parts and equipment are painted according to work orders. Prepares equipment, mixes paints, and maintains a safe and orderly work environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Paints parts and equipment according to work order using materials from paint booth. Sandblasts equipment and reapplies paint as needed.
Prepares equipment for painting by checking work orders, assembling workstation, mixing paints, inspecting parts for defects, cleaning equipment, and loading racks.
Maintains a neat and orderly work environment by sweeping paint booth daily, washing tank nozzles and other paint utensils, and making minor repairs to booth. Properly manage and dispose of all generated hazardous waste.
Performs related miscellaneous duties such as changing and assembling filters and ordering standard color paints.

Heavy Equipment Operator – $2,500 Hiring Bonus

Adams Land and Cattle is seeking a self-motivated individual to assist with the pen maintenance on the feedlot. This is a great opportunity for a critical thinker who enjoys operating equipment. The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and then 4 days off.

This person will be responsible for:
Operating various equipment such as loaders, articulated dump trucks, tractors, skid steers, dirt scrapers, grader, and dozers in a safe manner.
Piling manure, loading trucks, hauling manure, drag scraping pens, repairing bunkpads and vet pen areas, cleaning bunkpads, tracking drainways for drying, clearing mounds for cattle comfort, GPS dozing of drainways as needed, etc.
Executing the goals to maintain and repair pens according to the strategy outline by the management team.
Ensuring the quality of pen maintenance and repair workmanship supports the overall lowest cost program by minimizing damage to pens, reducing replacement dirt, and reducing future activity, if possible.
Ensuring that equipment is maintained, greased, washed, and preventive maintenance activities completed in a timely fashion.
Supporting any and all efforts needed during storm recovery.
Completing daily activity sheets, load sheets, equipment maintenance logs, etc. in an accurate and timely fashion.
Recognizing that weather conditions may require constant change in activities and that cattle comfort is first and foremost regarding this activity.
Working effectively in a team environment to complete tasks.

Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Mechanically inclined with working knowledge of large diesel powered equipment.

Manufacturing Technician

Description:

At the Caterpillar facility in Wamego, Kansas, we take pride in working together to safely build quality attachments that enhance the productivity and utility of Caterpillar machines, equipping them for a wide range of tasks and operating requirements. As a Manufacturing Technician (known internally as a Manufacturing Specialist) at Caterpillar’s Wamego, Kansas facility, you will perform a variety of processes using varied machines and/or hand tools.

Possible Work Areas:

Fabrication – Running CNC plasma and oxy-fuel burn tables, operating overhead hoists, labeling and removing slag from parts. This position also branches into opportunities in flame bevel, Horizontal band saw and entry level machinist.
Paint – Including but not limited to prepping parts and units prior to painting such as shot blasting, power washing, greasing bores, installing ground engagement tools with various tools such as manual wrenches, impact and torque wrenches. As well as rigging various sizes of units using different lifting devices.
Entry Level Welding- Perform a variety of repetitive manufacturing tasks including metal forming, product setup and welding. Employee will follow work instructions to produce basic welds that meet specifications including single pass fillets, bevels, plugs, and tie-ins. This is an entry level manufacturing position that provides a direct career path to Welder position for more complex products and processes.
Machinist- Running a wide variety of mills and lathes. Giving individual’s the opportunity to promote to higher level Machinist positions within Caterpillar.

WELDER

As a welder in the Wamego facility, you will hand weld in multiple positions to create parts using semi-automatic MIG welders and .052 wire as well as use robotic welding technology. You will also read and use blueprints to weld individual parts together. You will use jib and overhead cranes to manually position parts and work in one and two person stalls that are clean, well ventilated, safe, and equipped with the latest technologies.

Basic Qualifications

Possess a welding certification or a minimum of one (1) year welding experience
Available to work from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the introductory training period
