General Summary:

Ensures all Schenck Process parts and equipment are painted according to work orders. Prepares equipment, mixes paints, and maintains a safe and orderly work environment.

Essential Job Functions:

Paints parts and equipment according to work order using materials from paint booth. Sandblasts equipment and reapplies paint as needed.

Prepares equipment for painting by checking work orders, assembling workstation, mixing paints, inspecting parts for defects, cleaning equipment, and loading racks.

Maintains a neat and orderly work environment by sweeping paint booth daily, washing tank nozzles and other paint utensils, and making minor repairs to booth. Properly manage and dispose of all generated hazardous waste.

Performs related miscellaneous duties such as changing and assembling filters and ordering standard color paints.

Your qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior painting experience preferred.

Review and assess vehicle damage, determine repair of parts and new parts needed.
Repair body and frame damage on all makes of vehicles
Work with your team in completing repairs in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Qualifications – Body Shop Repair Technician:

Experience is Required
I-CAR and or ASE Certification is a plus but not required
Experience in Fabrication
Working knowledge of shop equipment
Attention to detail and top problem-solving skills
Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Valid driver’s license

Mechanic or Auto Body Specialist

Auto body

Come work at climate controlled shop doing Restoration to older classic cars but with a more modern engine and drivetrain. We are currently working on a 65 mustang coyote swap a 1973 Cuda with srt 392 swap and a 1970 charger that is mainly stock. We also do all of our own media blasting here on site. Collision Repair Technician

3-5 years related experience as a collision repair technician with heavy structural collision and frame experience preferred.
ICAR and ASE certifications in auto body repair and welding a plus.
Certificate from Vocational School in Collision a plus.
Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including body work and when to replace or repair parts.
Ability to read and follow instructions on repair/estimate orders.
Ability to utilize good time-management skills and communicate effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Equipment Body Mechanic

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

This position is located in the District One Shop in Topeka. This position exists to provide skilled body repair and paint work in the maintenance and repair of automobiles and heavy equipment in support of the agency’s construction and maintenance activities.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Provides skilled auto body and mechanical work for the maintenance and repair of equipment in support of KDOT’s construction and maintenance activities.
Performs skilled mechanical work in the maintenance and repair of heavy gasoline and diesel-powered heavy equipment.
Performs major and minor body repairs or panel replacements to both automotive and heave equipment bodies.
Completes critical and preventative maintenance repairs to KDOT’s fleet of equipment.

Autobody Repair Technician

•Must be at least 18 years of age
•Must have a valid driver’s license
•Preferred body shop experience
•Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates and work orders.

•Ability to operate job specific equipment in a safe and efficient manner

•Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently listens and understands the plans for repair process
•Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
•Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
•Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
•Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
•Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials.
•Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
•Understands and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
•Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
•Responsible for assisting in the general organization and maintenance of the shop
•Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business

Body repair tech / painter apprentice

New Century Services is looking for a body repair technician to join our team. We are a body shop that specializes in Over The Road truck repairs and painting. This position will be responsible for disassembly / assembly, sanding, taping and general body repairs of damaged vehicles. If candidate shows an interest and necessary abilities – painting skills will be taught with opportunities to master the art of painting. This position is a Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30 pm work schedule.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is a full-time, hourly position scheduled Monday – Friday with the availability for overtime and weekend work when necessary. The Painter is a strong team player with a positive attitude, is willing to take direction as well as be a self-starter and enjoys working in a creative, problem solving, and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position also possesses basic knowledge of handling hazardous materials and upholds basic cleaning standards of paint guns and work environment.

Essential Responsibilities/Functions:

Cleans and prepares products to be painted
Selects and mixes specific colors using computer generated formulas
Applies paint to various types of materials (i.e. metal, plastics, foam, etc.)
Takes directions well and is a self-starter
Improves processes as necessary
Works safely in and around a fabrication shop environment
Enjoys working in a creative, problem solving manufacturing environment
Fulfills other production duties assigned as needed


Ability to be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a great work ethic
Ability to work with little direction
Knowledge of fabrication shop procedures


8+ years professional paint experience
Experience with Matthews or PPG Paint System
Sign and/or automotive painting and bondo experience is a must
Experience setting up and operating paint equipment
Experience spraying metallics and clear coats is a plus
