CNA_- We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

As a CNA, you will provide exceptional patient care, offering physical support and assisting with daily living needs. Your role will involve monitoring vital signs, engaging in meaningful interactions with patients, and advocating for their well-being.

CMA- Providing physical support for patients or residents with

daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing,

dressing, getting out of bed, – using the toilet, walking,

standing, or exercising.

 Turning and repositioning bedridden patients.

 Ensuring residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing

their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.

 Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians,

caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment

plans, and suggested activities.

 Measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary

and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or

nursing staff.

 Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse,

temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.

 Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care,

including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.

 Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional

supplements.

 Noting observations of patient behavior, including

complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

 Stay up to date on CMA training and facility policy and

procedure.

 Administer medications as ordered by patient’s physician

Compensation is $15/hour for CNAs; $17/hour for CMAs.

Preschool Teacher

We are looking for a graduate with a minimum of a CDA to grow into the position of lead teacher for our 3 and 4-year-olds. The position can be both part-time or full-time and starts August 14th. Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8-1 or 8-4. 3 weeks of paid vacation after the first year. A sign-on bonus will be paid after the successful completion of the first 90 days.

A preschool Teacher and Teacher assistant, or Early Childhood Teacher, is a professional who takes care of and educates students around three to four years old. Their main duties include teaching children about basic fundamentals, like numbers, colors, and shapes, helping children build their social skills, and keeping the classroom clean, organized, and under instructional control for all of the students and teachers.
– Work with children in groups or one on one.
– Plan and carry out a curriculum set forth by the school
– Assist in all duties related to the preschool environment.

Greets and completes payment transactions for customer orders while working in assigned outlets on a POS (point of sale) system, accepts payment and (when applicable) accurately gives change back to customer
Delivers food items to guests
Adequately prepares for known peak business levels and effectively maintains a high level of guest service
Prepares all food items from standardized recipes when working in assigned outlets
Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
If 21 years of age and has obtained a High School diploma or GED, performs the duties of a Bartender in the Bingo outlet or Coffee Bar Attendant as needed

Per Diem Dispensing Nurse – LPN

BAART Programs is looking for a detail oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in partnership with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. The dispensing nurse also shares responsibility of maintaining dispensing equipment, managing medication inventory and reporting patient treatment information.

An ideal dispensing nurse candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the Substance Use Disorder.

Responsibilities:

Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
Use automated dispensing system(s), calibrate pump and maintain dispensing equipment
Produce and maintain appropriate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal and State Regulations
Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal regulations
Order, receive and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations. (If granted Power of Attorney)
Provide daily assessment of patients
Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff
Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Qualifications:

Current & good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of Kansas
Current CPR certification required
EMR & computer proficiency desired
Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated and directed, must have a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Well-established childcare center/ learning academy, in Topeka, is seeking a dependable, lead qualified teachers.
