Position Overview:

The Semi-Truck Driver will supply various materials to our worksites and plants. The Semi-Truck Driver is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:

• Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects
• Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner
• Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as required
• Complete pre and post-shift inspections and assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed
• Help set up and tear down job sites when moving locations (if needed)
• Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns
• Knowledge of properly securing loads
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)

Position Requirements:

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test
• Class A CDL
• Clean DMV record
• Basic maintenance skills
• Must follow all applicable DOT laws
