Position is responsible for keeping machines dialed in for operations, performs daily checks on each machine, troubleshoots operation issues, performs lockout/tag out procedures, assists in rebuilding machines, changes blades and inserts, performs welding tasks, operates forklift, performs general plumbing, and various other maintenance & facility up-keep tasks/projects around our facilities.

Requirements:
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record required
• Strong mechanical skills with fine attention to detail
• Possesses demonstrated knowledge of Custom Wood Products business processes/systems
• Demonstrate logical thinking and ability to solve problems
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills with ability to get along with others
• Demonstrate safety mindset and ability to perform work safely
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, stoop, climb ladders, and work at high altitudes on occasion

IT Help Desk

Provide on-site and remote IT support for all employees within the division
Address, prioritize, and resolve incoming help desk tickets
Perform various system administration tasks on a variety of on-premises such as adding/removing users, resetting passwords, and providing access while adhering to company policies and controls
Manage and oversee office technology equipment/hardware and user devices including wireless warehouse handheld scanners
Prepare and deploy Workstations, laptops, tablets, and phones for new employees as well as replacements for existing employees
Setup and configure peripheral equipment, monitors, scanners, printers, etc.
Work with hardware vendors for warranty work and replacements
Support other related equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and desk phones

Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

The purpose of a Maintenance Technician is to maintain conditions of operating equipment. Repair or replacement of failed components, the ability to troubleshoot unknown issues with equipment, and adjust centerline operational output of assigned equipment.

Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical P.M.s on various manufacturing and packaging equipment and electrical panels. Document WO’s/PM’s using computerized maintenance management system.

Troubleshooting and repairing routine electrical and mechanical problems on assigned equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, and support Operations in equipment setup and changeover.
Participate on MSE teams, train operators in AM activities, and conduct Breakdown Analysis.
Own PM systems for the Line, focusing on Maintenance Planning and Scheduling and Breakdown Elimination DMS’s.
Drives results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, and owns:
Maintain & Repair costs for line.
Planned Maintenance and PM compliance.
Breakdown reduction
Technical expert of related equipment and discuss, coach, and train technicians and operators on this equipment.
Owns Abnormality Handling DMS
Makes business decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Participates in the development and owns portions of the Line’s 90-Day loss-elimination plans.
Represent maintenance team in the daily FMOS meetings. Provides performance data for selected machines and communicates action plans and completed work effectively.

Education & Professional Qualification
Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:
Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/Technology.

Knowledge/Experience
Technical degree/trade certification or 2 years or equivalent manufacturing technician experience required.
Successful completion of Mars Apprenticeship Program or Co-op.

Minimum:
Possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner.
Ability to troubleshoot ac/dc electrical components including motor starters, switches and sensors found on all assigned equipment using basic test equipment such as multi-meters and amp probes.
Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipment, i.e. sorting systems and palletizing robots.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
Willingness to develop required technical skills in welding, basic machinist and fabrication/layout skill sets.

Preferred:
Possess an advanced understanding of ac/dc electrical (up to 480-volt 3 phase), hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner.
Possess PLC/ Instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.).
Frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.
Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).

Child Care Teacher

Well-established childcare center/ learning academy, in Topeka, is seeking a dependable, lead qualified teachers. Must have prior experience working in a licensed childcare center, with the ability to nurture and provide stimulating activities for young children. Completion of all KDHE requirements is highly desired but not required. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
