Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Deliver and set up cataract equipment and product. Stage product weeks in advance for pending regional surgery dates.
· Troubleshoot and operate equipment in the OR. Must be able to work well under pressure.
· Provide outstanding customer service to surgeons and other staff members.
· Ensure all product is being tracked as it is used during cases and reporting back to Vantage’s billing team. Attention to detail is very important for this position.
· Adjust inventory in the system, organize inventory, and communicate with headquarters inventory team regularly.
· Ensure your vehicle is maintained properly. (oil changes, tire rotations, car wash, etc.) Contacting the fleet manager with any issues.
· Safely maintain Vantage storage location to insure cleanliness, compliance, and sterility.
· Act as Vantage representative while with the client, serving as a customer service agent and acting as liaison between the Client, Sales, Operations, and Headquarters.
· Continuous on the job training to ensure team stays up to date on all the latest equipment!

Qualifications to be a Surgical Coordinator for Vantage Surgical Solutions:
-Experience in Ophthalmology a plus but not required.
-Responsible and able to work independently.
-Detail-oriented is a must.
-Learners’ mindset and able to bring new ideas and adapt to changes.
-Basic computer skills.

2004 Summer Fire Hydrant Auditor

The purpose of this position is to assist in the auditing of fire hydrants which includes flushing, operating, maintaining and recording pertinent information about the hydrant and applicable water valves.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates and maintains fire hydrants.
Assists in maintaining truck inventory and in servicing, repair, or replacement of equipment and tools assigned to truck.
Keeps trucks and equipment clean and well organized.
Reads and interprets WaterOne maps. Uses GIS mapping system, PC and plotter.
Locates and records ties on new and existing hydrants manually and using GPS equipment.
Performs tests on branch valve, flushes hydrants and runs pressure tests on fire hydrants to determine proper working condition of hydrant. Records inspection information daily and is able to use electronic device to record and download data.
Operates hand and power tools and other equipment used at work sites.
Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education, Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working/performing in summer weather conditions.
Must be able to read and understand maps and blueprints in electronic format.
Knowledge of traffic safety work zone regulations and the ability to install warning devices to provide a safe working zone.
Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate with customers and co-workers in emergency situations.
Must be a good listener.
Establish and maintain good working relations with employees and the public and work well with different work crews.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Continuously meet WaterOne driving standards. Two or more moving violations in 24 months prior to application disqualify a candidate.
Must have good computer skills and the ability to use software used at WaterOne.
Meet departmental attendance and performance expectations.
Must pass post offer medical exam, including drug screen and background verification (may not apply to current employees). This position is also subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions

Inspects equipment such as mowers, tractors and fertilizer machines to insure they are in proper working order.

2024 Summer Communications Intern

The purpose of this position is to gain knowledge and experience by assisting our Communications team with various external and internal communication responsibilities including representing the organization at community outreach events, creating newsletters and publications, and social media content creation. Weatherization Field Specialist

KHRC is looking for a individual passionate about helping low income households improve their comfort and reduce their utility bills through energy efficiency. Working through the Kansas Weatherization Assistance Program, this position will serve as a quality control auditor and trainer to ensure the program is providing the highest quality services. Key duties include:
-Provide technical support for all levels of the Weatherization Assistance Program.
-Schedule and conduct site visits of homes to review completed work and write associated technical summary reports per program requirements.
-Observe work performed for quality and compliance which will require accessing attics and crawlspaces.
-Review energy audits and work scopes in the office and help develop and maintain technical policies and procedures related to energy efficiency upgrades.

Capture data from Kansas Disposition Reports received manually and electronically by identifying the proper existing criminal record and using the standardized coding structure to update each record with the arrest and disposition.
Interpret submitted information properly and use code conversion when necessary.
Form reasonable conclusions about which state statute or municipal code to use when information provided is unclear, incomplete, or totally missing.
Conduct quality assurance by reviewing and correcting electronic dispositions before submitting them to the criminal record.
Provide telephone and email customer service to assist and guide local criminal justice agencies to submit data using the proper reporting methods to assure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of information.
Provide telephone and email customer service to the general public regarding criminal history record check processes and fees.
Research, interpret, and apply rules in order to arrive at a proper conclusion in order to submit information the NICS Indices when prohibition criteria is met.
