The Maintenance Technician is responsible for resolving facility electrical maintenance to include installation & repair of electrical systems & components of industrial machinery & equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams & blueprints.
Your responsibilities:
Service all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems as required to maintain reliable and efficient building operations.
Assist with service and construction contracts to reduce costs and provide quality assurance.
Maintaining a safe work environment for building occupants by understanding and ensuring proper use of equipment and chemicals, recognizing potential problems, and reporting as needed.
Ensure continuity of operations by understanding, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment.
Your qualifications:
Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances, and HVAC in both theory and practical application.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple projects, duties, and tasks.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Good analytical skills, able to troubleshoot problems and identify solutions.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a commercial and/or industrial environment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Technical degree preferred.
