Delivering fuel to pipelines and gas stations.

Must be 21 and have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Completion of truck driving school or six (6) months’ experience in driving a truck of at least 64,000 pounds gross vehicle weight.

Valid Kansas Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrake certification and eligible to operate a County-owned vehicle (HR 2005 7).

60% Driving: Class B with air brakes
You will receive training on operating Rear-Load, Side-Load, Front- Load, Roll-Off, Trucks.

18% Collections:
You may be required to ride on the rear steps of a REAR-LOAD residential/commercial route truck and operates the cart tipper and the packer controls.

22% Other Duties

Compensation: Drivers are paid by the load. A new driver can easily make 60 to 70k per year. With some experience and good performance reviews salary could be in mid to high 80k range
