Description
Receive and complete instructions/directions from Cook.
Prepare patient trays according to the menu extensions (proper serving sizes and therapeutic diet orders).
Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
Take and record temperature of dish machine and ensure compliance with regulations.
Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving.
Mix ingredients for green salads, molded fruit salads, vegetable salads, and pasta salads.
Notify supervisor or cook of shortages or special needs.
Clean and organize eating, service, and kitchen areas.
Wash dishes and utensils used for preparing food.
Participates in performance improvement activities.
Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.
All other duties as required.
