Shop Technician
This role involves repairing, inspecting, & maintaining commercial trucks & equipment. The technician also be responsible for maintaining a clean organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reports to lead shop tech
• Wash equipment
• Grease equipment
• Mount, dismount, & replace tires on commercial vehicles
• Basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid changes, battery test, air & electrical
• Preform inspections of incoming vehicles & equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper care of tools & equipment
• Familiar with ag & construction equipment is a plus
• Manage inventory & pickup parts
• Operate a loader, such as skid steer, front end loader, excavator, farm tractor, etc. (all of this can be trained)
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by lead shop tech & operations team
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in shop environment or trade school
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment’
• Hand tools will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods of time
• Safely work in all weather conditions
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift 100 lbs. as needed
• Valid driver’s license, Class B or A CDL is a plus (but not required)
