Overview
As a High School Business Associate, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within our high school business team.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of revenue, expenses, and other key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Data Interpretation: Interpret financial data and reports to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
3. Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets by analyzing historical data and trends.
4. Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor business performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to management.
5. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
6. Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Advancement & Alumni Office, Admissions and Academic team members, to gather data and insights for analysis.
8. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, systems, and methodologies related to financial analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
1. Experience working in a high school business environment preferred
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google suite, School Information System (FACTS) preferred, Quickbooks and other data analysis tools.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Interest in business, finance, and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Prior experience in business, finance, or accounting.
2. Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
3. Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
