PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assists in the preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner.
-Learn the “baker” position
-Assumes responsibility for seeing to it that during meal service periods the supply of food offered is replenished regularly.
-Assists in the daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas.
-Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled
intervals as designated by the kitchen manager.
-Assumes responsibilities for storage and disposal of unused foods.
-Regularly attends inservice classes to keep knowledge and skills current.
-Participate in monthly safety meetings for kitchen staff.
-Performs other duties as assigned by kitchen manager or food service director.
