Internship Program Goals
Provide a rewarding experience for students who are preparing for real careers outside of high school or college. The goal is to provide a real-world, thought-provoking internship to experience things first-hand.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collect data on new assets enterprise-wide.
2. Verify plant asset lists and validate data in the enterprise CMMS.
3. Manipulate databases to ensure security and validity.
4. Create standard work for routing CMMS activities.
5. Update I/O drawings and tags.
6. Travel may be necessary to remote facilities.
Job Skills
1. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
2. General process flow understanding.
3. Ability to read prints preferred.
4. Basic math and technical writing skills preferred.
Working Conditions
1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.
2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.
3. Lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs.
4. Production demands may require evening or weekend scheduling.
