TARC, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional. Successful candidate will be part of the Day Services/Senior Services Team and will support adults with developmental disabilities. The position will provide support and services within a habilitation setting. Responsibilities will include implementing goals from individualized plans developed for adults. Responsible for performing laboratory procedures on appropriate specimens to provide information for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Collects specimens, runs tests, reports results on a variety of patient orders. Capable of running waived or moderate complexity test with minimal supervision. Provide accurate and timely reports to meet the needs of Physicians and other medical staff at the PBPN Health Center. Capable of covering the lab in the absence of Lab Director.
Must have an Associates Degree and Medical Technician Certificate, completion of Medical Technician training and one year of experience as a Technician.
-Qualified to perform work in accordance with the standards of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and the College of American Pathology.
