This person will be responsible for:
Repairing and maintaining feedlot facilities and equipment, including but not limited to processing barns, mobile vet units, feed mill, equipment, water, power and sprinklers.
Welding (mig and arc) to complete repairs and new fabrication.
Machining parts that are used throughout the feedlot operation.
Maintaining welding/machining equipment in a good state of repair.
Repairing/maintaining hydraulic, plumbing and water systems.
Completing electrical, carpentry, concrete and/or fencing work in support of feedlot operations.
Supporting the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the feedlot sprinkler system.
Supporting Lot Maintenance activities.
Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Welding and/or machining skills.
Experience with mechanical applications.
Excellent verbal communication.
High attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and quality culture.
Individual must be team-oriented.
Any electrical, hydraulic, and water systems experience is helpful.
This position requires:
Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering frequently; pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally; crawling and stairs rarely.
Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, if needed.
Valid Driver’s License.
