USD 290 – Ottawa, Kansas is accepting applications for a High School Auto Mechanics Teacher.  This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that will begin approximately 08/01/2025.  This is 183 day contract (August to May) will be in our state-of-the-art CTECH facility at Ottawa High School.  Coursework to include teaching students general automotive mechanics, preventative maintenance, and body repair.

Salary will be based on education and experience.  Salary range  $46,737 to $81,157 dependent upon education and experience based on the 2024-2025 Negotiated Agreement.

Current, valid Kansas Teaching License required.  Non-licensed applicants wanting to enter the teaching field may be eligible to participate in an alternative pathway to licensure program with assistance from the District.
