Position Summary: This position is located at Lansing Correctional Facility in the Human Resources Office. The incumbent must be willing to work in a team environment, respect confidentiality and strive to provide optimal customer service.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Manages the contract employee clearance process
• Oversees health insurance and benefits enrollment, as well as assisting personnel with any questions or concerns on their plans
• Maintaining current and accurate employee files
• Enrolling employees into state retirement plant and be the point of contact for KPERs
• Assist with new hire orientation
• Tracks and disseminates deadlines for performance reviews in accordance with the MOA

Production Operator Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
At least one year of experience in shipping and/or receiving role
Must have demonstrated mechanical ability, experience with industrial equipment a plus, and understanding of cGMPct
Must be able to perform a variety of tasks in the plant including equipment operation and basic maintenance
Ability to follow instructions, take initiative, and work independently
Dependability in coming to work and on-time
Basic computer skills desired
Must be available 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (1st shift) or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (3rd shift), Monday – Friday
Willing to consent to background check: social security, prior employment, and education verification, and criminal history check.

Production Operator Responsibilities:
Operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to produce end-product
Work with internal Timilon staff members to meet or exceed the needs of our Customers, including: running special production batches; assisting with developmental materials; preparing proprietary or custom blends of materials; preparing shipments; or delivery of product
Monitor inventory levels and schedule replenishments to ensure that min/max levels are appropriately maintained
Ensure the plant facilities and equipment are kept clean, safe, and organized by conducting periodic walk-throughs and taking the appropriate action necessary
Follow established standard maintenance and calibration schedules and coordinate such with external and internal resources
Pick and pack orders as required for outgoing shipments
Assist in receiving, checking-in, and disbursement of materials, equipment, and supplies; maintain proper records
Safely and efficiently operate process equipment
Observe equipment operation protocols, as well as process flows, and suggest improvements to optimize production capabilities
Record and document data and processing parameters in a clear, concise, and timely manner, maintain manufacturing records
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of equipment, as required
Perform auxiliary functions as needed

• Must have a minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment
• A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required. (New hires with external similar qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply)
• Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
