Daily Tasks
• Daily Reconciliation
Count Cash Drawers – balance to report
Reconcile checks and credit cards
Report checks and credit cards to TSYS, Dex and Payments Gateway reports
Prepare Deposit
• Match bills and packing slips and enter bills in Quickbooks
• Enter any new contracts
• Enter any new lesson agreements
• Make changes to lesson agreement schedule as requested by teachers
• Process all payments received in the mail
• Scan all bills, contracts, lesson agreements, and miscellaneous documents

Weekly Tasks
• Call Parents about unpaid lesson and contract payments
• Scan and e-mail or mail new invoices

Monthly Tasks
• Count petty cash
• Mail Paid off contract letters 1st of month
• Mail Maintenance Renewal post cards – 1st of month
• Mail Lease Renewal post cards – 1st of month
• Mail Delinquent Notices – 10th of month
• Account Statement – scan and e-mail or mail – 25th of month
• Prepare documentation and send outside collection referrals 30th of month

Compensation is $14 – $16/hour; part-time morning or afternoon. No benefits provided.

**Specific duties may include:**
-Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
-Conducting a safe work zone during each job site
-Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
-Documenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
-Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
-Working in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unloading them
-Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
-Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting the entire due amount on COD deliveries
-Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
-This position does not require over the road travel

**Specific qualifications include:**
-Valid CDL – Class A or B
-The ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (your most common cargo will be 70 pound bundles of shingles)
-Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
-Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
-Conveyor truck experience is preferred

Layout Technician

• Design and layout sprinkler systems using specialized CAD software packages that
are based on the AutoCAD platform.
• Coordinate sprinkler system piping with other building components. Perform
hydraulic calculations.
• Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and
contracts.
• Interpret and apply applicable NFPA standards to the design and/or layout of the
sprinkler systems based on the building type, construction type, hazard classification.
and architectural features.
• Perform field check of completed design to verify accuracy, if required.
• Work closely with the Estimation department, Design Manager, and Operations
Manager to review the scope sheet and requirements of each project.
• Coordinate projects to meet delivery dates.
• Communicate with AHJs, contractors, and other trades.
• Coordinate with team members for listing of required materials.
• Coordinate with team members for permitting and inspection requirements.
• Actively participate in predesign and review meetings.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and quality improvement

Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice

As a fire sprinkler apprentice, your job is to learn how to install, test, repair, and perform maintenance on a fire sprinkler system. In this role, you may assist experienced installers, learn to cut and fit pipes, or participate in classroom training as needed. Fire sprinkler apprentices frequently accompany teams to jobs and progress through increasingly complex tasks, learning and mastering each aspect of fire sprinkler systems before moving on to the next. Precision and accuracy are especially important in this job. Fire sprinkler systems can mean the difference between life and death, so most installers have particularly high standards for work quality. Most apprenticeships last 4-5 years. Diesel Technician Internship (2023-2024)

Purpose:
To provide hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to develop mechanical and diagnostic skills for students who are pursuing an Associates of Applied Science in Agriculture Power/Technology, Diesel & Heavy Equipment or Diesel Technology.

Job Responsibilities:
Understand the mission, vision, and values of KanEquip and the goals and expectations of the service department.
Preform pre-delivery set ups and inspections on new equipment and basic service work as assigned.
Develop skills to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, and fuel systems.
Work with online parts and service information systems
Develop skills to complete reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist other diesel technicians and other departments to bring value and customer service to our stakeholders.
Engage in trainings, mentoring, and feedback surveys
Attend social and networking events.
Hours and Benefits:
During the school year, hours are available based on class schedule and location need. During the summer interns should expect 40+ hours per week.
