The Temporary Membership Representative will work closely with other members of the membership department to become familiar with membership operations, policies and procedures. This position is involved in establishing and maintaining group and member records and loading rates for new and renewing groups within the Membership systems. Responsible for meeting and maintaining departmental and corporate goals.
•Establish new memberships, according to policies and procedures, so claims and inquiries can be processed in an accurate and timely manner.
•Maintain existing group and member records.
•Add and maintain dependent records.
•Provide customer service to internal and external customers through telephone and/or written communications.
•Determine applicability of State and Federal laws.
•Work with the Finance Representative to reconcile bills for groups and members with all billing types, identifying and processing suspense money in an accurate and timely manner, review and process all items identified on reports to include payment, refund, billing error, PCP, Plan 65 conversion reports, etc., assist in enforcing the corporate delinquency policy and process returned checks and bank drafts in an accurate and timely manner.
•Work requires high level of concentration so errors will not be made. Ability to handle many interruptions and the ability to withstand pressure due to high volumes of work and the need to achieve individual, department and corporate goals. Ability to use a PC for 90% of the day. Required to use the phone 30% of the day.
•High school graduate or equivalent required.
**Positions start 8/19/19 and go approximately 6 months
