Licensed Medical Professional

Premier Employment Solutions and Key Staffing are seeking a candidate to fill a Licensed Medical Professional position! The Licensed Medical Professional must have one of the following licenses/certifications; LPN, RN, ATC, CPTA, COTA, PT, OT, DC, ARNP, PA, DO, MD and will be responsible for performing Physical Capacity Testing in a blended HR/Medical screening role. We are partnered with Occupational Performance Corporation (OPC) to utilize their state of the art technology and equipment to conduct Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) Testing. OPC provides all initial and continuous training and support.

The program is designed to help provide better workplace protection for our employees and to reduce losses resulting from accidents and injuries.

Licensed Medical Professional Job Responsibilities:
• Administer physical capacity evaluations
• Review employee’s medical history
• Complete workplace safety inspections to identify risks and hazards (training provided)
• Communicate with host employers regarding health and safety training
• Work with staff to manage, monitor, and improve health and safety standards
• Perform accident investigations with the Risk Manager
• Periodic reporting as directed
• Maintain HIPAA, ADA, and EEOC compliance
• Additional responsibilities include interviewing candidates, on-boarding employees, scheduling and screening candidates, and additional HR support functions as needed

Licensed Medical Professional Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• Certification or license in the medical/health field; LPN, RN, ATC, CPTA, COTA, PT, OT, DC, ARNP, PA, DO, MD
• Strong Computer proficiency required

Temporary Part-Time Public Health Consultant

Key Staffing is seeking a temporary Part-Time Public Health Consultant! The temporary Part-Time Public Health Consultant will be conducting investigations of enteric diseases by conferring with health care providers, school personnel, and patients. 30 or more college hours in a health or science related field is required. BS in a health or science related field is preferred. The temporary Part-Time Public Health Consultant will work approximately 20-30/hrs a week, including some evenings, through Sept 30, 2019. $14.25/hr!

Part-Time Public Health Consultant Job Responsibilities:
• Employee will conduct investigations of enteric diseases by conferring with health care providers, school personnel, and patients.
• Employee will conduct case and contact interviews, locating and motivating exposed contacts to seek prompt medical evaluation and treatment, and submitting case reports.
• Will ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of appropriate data collection for enteric surveillance data; will review cases for completeness of investigation; and close cases routed in the electronic surveillance system.
• Will perform clerical tasks such as data entry of laboratory results and coordinate and monitor data in the electronic disease surveillance system.

Part-Time Public Health Consultant Job Qualifications:
• Minimum qualifications for these positions include 30 or more college hours in a health or science related field.
• Preferred qualifications are a BS in a health or science related field.
• Telephone and email communication skills, attention to detail, database skills, Microsoft Office skills.

Certified Nurse Aide

Certified Nurse Aide JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: CNA – Paraeducator

Reports to: Special education teacher, regular education teacher, building principal and NEKESC administrators.

Goal of Job: Assist teachers in providing appropriate special education programs that are of high quality. The paraeducator will free the teacher from routine tasks in the educational setting by assisting in student instruction and supervision.

Duties:
1. Assist students in performing activities that have been planned and initiated by the teacher.

2. Provide individual assistance with academic tasks, interactions with
other students, and other school activities.

3. Assist in supervising students in general education classrooms, resource
rooms, on the playground, lunchroom, bathroom and other school or
community environments.

4. Carry out any behavior intervention plans or student assistance plans
developed by the supervising teachers or IEP team.

5. Assist in preparing instructional materials.

6. Collect student performance data as directed by the teachers.

7. Keep records as directed by the teachers.

8. Assist in entering data for computerized education programs and
records.

9. In emergency or unusual situations, assume duties of another
paraeducator, including assisting with daily living skills and self care.

10. Report to supervising teachers and/or administrators any problems or
questions regarding the assigned students and their educational
programs.

11. Be aware of and follow all policies and regulations of the assigned
school district and Northeast Kansas Education Service Center.

12. Be aware of and follow all policies and regulations regarding the
confidentiality of student information.

Evaluation: Evaluation of the instructional paraeducator will be conducted jointly by the supervising teacher(s) and the building principal.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Education and Training: Requires CNA license. Must maintain CNA license to maintain employment. Requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Good rapport with parents, children and staff is essential. Must have a positive attitude about remediation of handicapping conditions and be willing and able to accept individual differences in children. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license (safe driving record, Department of Motor Vehicles check).

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk (sometimes for extended distances, ex. Field trips); and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Position may require daily travel within assigned area.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Salary Range: Determined by Keystone para-educator wage scale. Non-exempt hourly position.

Customer Experience Representative

Provides a world-class customer service experience by trouble shooting and resolving complex customer inquiries from members, employers, and providers.

Essential Functions:
Research, resolve and respond to inquiries and correspondence via telephone, written communication and/or in person. Inquiries will be from members, providers, group leaders and internal staff regarding a diverse range of topics including, but not limited to, contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, provider networks, payments and appeals.
Uses critical thinking skills to determine course of action needed to resolve inquiry or complaint.
Must be comfortable being monitored for level of efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction and must be able to meet performance standards to achieve both individual and department goals.
Must be able to communicate effectively with appropriate tone and content. Customer Service calls are recorded to ensure accuracy and to provide a tool for feedback for reps.
Must be able to balance workload to ensure timely and accurate response to both internal and external customers.
Initiate claims adjustments and update enrollment information through the on-line systems as determined necessary through inquiries.
Must demonstrate the ability to listen, talk, type and perform research simultaneously using various research channels, both online and hard copy.
Must be able to follow a call guide.
Ability to provide education to our members and providers on various avenues available to them to obtain information such as the website.
Promote good working relations and positive work environment while acting as a role model to coworkers.
Must remain positive, pleasant, and helpful under a wide variety of circumstances including angry customers. Employee must be able to be on telephone constantly except for breaks and lunches and must wear a headset that plugs into the phone. Communication by telephone and direct personal contacts will consume 95% of the workday. Must operate a Personal Computer (PC) at least 95% of the day in which a sitting/stationary position is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Is subject to work standards and must achieve and maintain a commendable performance level in production and quality with minimal supervision. Must be able to adhere to a very strict schedule to include varying start and stop times and when allowed to go to break/lunch.

Qualifications:
High school education or its equivalent required. College or continuing education courses in communications, interpersonal relationships, psychology, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, composition or business letter writing is preferred.
Working knowledge of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas customer service systems is required upon completion of training.
Detailed knowledge of contracts, benefit coding, enrollment regulations, and legal issues such as HIPAA, COBRA, OBRA, and MSP are required upon completion of training.
Excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills and organizational skills are required.
Must be comfortable working individually in a structured environment.
Proficiency in Grammar, Spelling, Typing and Basic Math are required.
Two year’s experience navigating multiple computer systems preferred.
Two year’s customer service experience preferred.
Excellent human relations and communication skills are required with the ability to interact positively with external customers and all levels of internal staff
