Garage Door Technichian

Experienced installers and repair techs preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, experienced preferred. We are seeking individuals who can install/ repair sectional garage doors, sheet doors, rolling steel doors, install/ repair residential openers. The applicants we are looking for should be able to complete any install/ repair given to him/ her. The perfect candidate comes up with solutions, adapts, and overcomes the common problems at a job site. Will train the right candidate. Must be 21 years old or older with valid driver’s license. We require the “CAN DO” attitude that it takes to succeed in today’s market. We pay at the TOP of our field. We will be providing a company trucks, tools and fuel. Qualifications and Skills

Skills/Experience (preferred but not required) installing/repairing overhead doors
Mechanically Inclined
Welding
Wood framing
110 volt and 220 volt electrical basics
Strong attendance record
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background and drug screen
Ability to lift 75 lbs
A commitment to deliver superior customer service
Must have HS Diploma/GED
Responsibilities

Identifies, analyzes, and repairs residential/commercial garage door(s)
Performs preventative maintenance and proactive repairs when needed
Represents company by serving as a direct company contact
Provides repair vs. replacement options
Responds to calls in a timely manner
Provides sales leads to Sales Lead Coordinator
Determines parts to order for repairs in a timely manner
Complete paperwork for each job, including daily time, job status and duration
Records parts, materials, labor and other cost data per job and return unused resources to warehouse
Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines and company safety policies and procedures
Maintains truck maintenance and completes truck inspection daily
Required to drive a company vehicle and must follow all driving and safety rules and DOT requirements at all times
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands

Able to work at heights up to 20 feet
Able to consistently to lift/pull/push/kneel/crouch/reach while handling tools necessary to install garage doors
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use depth perception.
Able to lift 75lbs

Heavy Equipment Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Roller Operator

Reports to: Crew Foreman

I. Purpose of the job:
To safely operate machine that compacts and smoothes hot-mix bituminous paving material and to produce the highest quality pavement possible.

II. Essential functions and responsibilities:
1. Serves as a representative of the company, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the company and with the public.
2. Safely operates the roller, using procedures designed to produce the highest quality pavement possible.
3. Performs appropriate daily machine maintenance, including the monitoring and inspecting of bearings and all other working parts.
4. Moves levers, depresses pedals, turns handwheels, pushes throttle to control and guide machine.
5. Determines speed and direction of machine, based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures, so that ridges are not formed by excessive pressure.
6. Drives machine in successive overlapping passes over surface to be compacted.
7. Monitors roller for unusual noise or vibration and report it to crew foreman.
8. Monitors quality of work being produced by the roller.
9. Work as a team member.

2. Must possess manual dexterity and physical ability to operate a roller.

2. Ability to work long hours.
3. Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions of heat and cold.

To safely drive and operate truck equipped with tank to spray oil or bituminous emulsions on road surfaces.

II. Essential functions and responsibilities:
1. Serves as a representative of the company, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the company and with the public.
2. Connects hose from storage tank to truck tank and moves lever to fill pressure tank with bituminous liquid.
3. Regulates burner to heat liquid.
4. Starts auxiliary pump.
5. Drives truck at a constant speed to obtain uniform distribution of oil.
6. Work as a team member.
