The Maintenance Technician helps maintain a fully-functioning and clean facility by ensuring the grounds, buildings, and equipment are kept in a safe condition by following an established maintenance program and as directed by the Director of Environmental Services. He or she is responsible for all corrective and preventive maintenance duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED with further training to achieve certification. A Backflow license, EPA CFC certification, and one to three years of experience that includes residential and commercial HVAC is preferred. Would also like to have experience in electrical, audio Visual/Computer troubleshooting skills as well as appliance repair experience. He or she must be able to read wiring diagrams and must have strong computer skills. In addition, the Maintenance Technician must have a general mechanical aptitude and must be experienced with the use of hand tools and other general maintenance equipment. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and appropriate dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
