The Dymax Product Support Rep oversees Quality Assurance related items, claims and processing; parts calls and troubleshooting and field service. This individual owns the Quality Assurance tasks and processing of warranty claims. This individual will also be required to collaborate with project teams made up of individuals across multiple departments throughout the company.
Product Support / Equipment Mechanic
Help coordinate Dymax Product Support to improve customer satisfaction with Dymax products by providing the best service possible.
Works with sales group by helping with parts calls or product problem calls.
Improve documentation for delivering the best products possible and storage of documentation
Improve methods for training customers by use of onsite training or through other media types such as video or slideshows.
Work with Product Manager, Marketing & Engineering Group as it relates to installation, schematics, parts books, recommended service parts list, service and operation procedures. These items are used in documentation such as operations, parts and service manuals where applicable.
Travel to see customers both domestic and in some cases foreign depending on each circumstance as they may arise. Can be up to 25% of the time.
Supervises Quality Assurance and Claims department.
Assist Sales for quoting specs utilizing Solidworks, Excel, Word,or other software to develop, document and communicate changes or updates.
Helps with Return Goods and Warranty Claims processing and improvements.
Tear down and evaluation of components sent in for repair to properly inform customers of damages and why they occurred.
Works with Dymax product support problem database, engineering change databases and other software to improve overall abilities to deliver better communications on problems and solutions.
Field testing, evaluation, and development work to be done in collaboration with others in Engineering, Sales, and Service departments as well as specific test customers
Emailing documents in Gmail
Using hand/power tools and machining equipment
Able to use Hydraulic test equipment operation, including flow meters, data acquisition, multi-meters
Testing and Troubleshooting hydraulic and electronic systems
Pickup and delivery of components
Bench testing of hydraulic components
Vendor communication for parts and service

Qualifications and Skills
Education preferred would be Diesel Technology, Mecatronics, Hydraulics knowledge
2 year degree preferred
